Vulnerable populations in low- and middle-income countries often face significant barriers such as limited access to essential medicines, inadequate healthcare infrastructure, and a shortage of trained healthcare professionals. To bridge this gap, biomedical research must focus on creating affordable, accessible solutions tailored to the unique needs of these communities.

Equally important is strengthening healthcare systems in developing countries through investments in infrastructure, training healthcare workers, and improving data collection systems. Addressing social determinants such as poverty, inequality, and education also plays a crucial role in creating lasting change. Empowering communities by improving access to clean water, sanitation, and healthier lifestyles builds a sustainable foundation for equitable healthcare access.
